About Dr. Robertson:- Dr. Robertson is Robertson Dental Innovations’ principle dentist and co-founder (with his wife; Mrs Robertson). Born, raised and trained in Scotland, Dr. Robertson came to Australia in 1991, first setting up a practice in Stawell, before coming to Bendigo. Based in the Blue Surgery at our Sternberg site, Dr. Robertson is able to provide all facets of dental care to all of his patients. Ranging from the run-of-the-mill exams and fillings, right through to complex endodontics (root canal treatments), and dental implants (one of only a handful of dentists in Bendigo to do implants), Dr. Robertson can do it all.

Dr. Robertson heads the Bendigo Dental Implants Team. Bendigo Dental Implants is the part of Robertson Dental Innovations dedicated to the dental implant treatments from single tooth replacements to full mouth reconstructions.

Dr. Robertson has implanted and restored over 500 implants, with an extremely high success rate. As well as the standard implants, Dr. Robertson is also able to provide denture retaining “mini-implants”. Most implant cases are preformed on a Thursday morning, enabling plenty of recovery time for the patients over the weekend.

In August 2015, Dr. Robertson completed a Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, the first in Australia to be awarded this qualification. The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, founded in 1505, is one of the worlds oldest and most prestigious surgical bodies.

Dr. Robertson is also the only operator currently using our E4D machine to design, create and mill his own Crowns and Veneers on site. This system enables Dr. Robertson to provide a quicker turn-around time for his patients and create and even more customised options for his patients.

Dr. Robertson is also able to assist all the other dentists within our group, holding training sessions and assisting with difficult cases when needed.

Dental Tip from Robertson:-

Dr. Robertson believes in retirement planning for your teeth as with all other aspects of life. By taking the time to plan ahead now, to put in place long-term solutions and maintenance regimes, most of us will be able to keep our teeth healthy for life.
